Over the duration of any contract it is important for all stakeholders to ensure all the manufacturing and handling equipment, used in the contract, complies to the approach statutory regulations and is kept in a good operating condition.
Given that there is often in excess of 1,000 items of equipment required to process a complex product, the Leviosa project management portal efficiently and effectively manages this corporate governance requirement.
This includes items of equipment such as overhead cranes, mobile plant equipment, machine tools, foundry equipment, inspection equipment and test gauges/instrumentation. Risk is mitigated in the contract through the use of such a central “equipment healthcare portal”.
Asset Regulatory Conformance
The asset management healthcare section of the Leviosa project management portal will ensure all certificates and paperwork of the equipment, which supports the regulatory requirements for use, are stored and viewable on the system.
All missing certification will be automatically flagged up by the system and displayed on the real-time Contract Performance dashboards for stakeholder action.
This system will ensure full equipment legal compliance for the thousands of items used to manufacture complex items, across multiple sites and multiple departments, delivering total project manager peace of mind.
Equipment Calibration/Service Management
The next level of Leviosa delivered client “peace of mind” is in the area of equipment fit-for-purpose validation conformance. This helps to ensure each and every item of equipment used in a project, is fully calibrated and/or serviced in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers recommendations and/or the companies preventative maintenance plan.
This includes all items of equipment from overhead cranes to micrometers, machine tools to digital calipers. The Leviosa project management portal clearly displays all items recorded, their last service date and the next service date in user friendly “drill-down” reports/tables.
When items are in service date, they appear in a Green field. As they approach the service date, the field automatically turns orange. As their calibration/service dates expire the fields turn red, thereby providing a full, visual record of the status of the equipment used in the project.
